Indian science, Ancient Mythology and False propaganda of BJP -RSS

Dr. P. M. Bhargava , prominent Scientist and founder director of the
centre for Cellular Molecular Biology , ( CCMB ) , Hyderabad, strongly
feel that " Indian science suffer, today more than ever, from
government apathy and no serious scientific business is done in Indian
science congress because of political affair and bizarre thoughts from
the senior leaders of the country ".
Unfortunately, BJP and RSS leaders views and ideologies about science
are exactly opposite to what Indian science recommends.
" saffronisation " of education has always been a pet project of the
Rss which aims to connect ancient  mythology with contemporary
science.
Almost a year before, promoting ancient Veda's mythology with
contemporary science by prime minister Narendra Modi and Home minister
Rajnatth Singh was also the part of RSS project.

Home minister Rajnath Singh ,had falsely claimed that Heisenberg's '
uncertainty principle ' was borrowed of the Veda.
Mr. Singh, who once taught physics at a post graduate college in
Mirzapur, said - " The principle through which quantum mechanics was
found the uncertainty principle propounded by Werner Heisenberg. If
Heisenberg had not propounded it, then quantum mechanics would not
have come.
Heisenberg learnt the uncertainty principle from the philosophy of
Veda of this country.
Heisenberg came to India in 1929 and met Rabindranath Tagore."

Now I am Research analyst and I have been  also a student of physics and my
physics professor Mr. Shamser sir taught that Heisenberg had
propounded the uncertainty principle in 1927, two years before he met
Tagore.
On October 25,2014,prime minister Narendra Modi claimed that "
Mahabharat ka kehna hai Ki karn maa Ki godh se paida nahi huwa tha .
Iska matlab yeh hai Ki us samay genetic science mojud tha.....Hum
Ganeshji Ki puja karte hai , koi to plastic surgeon hoga us jamane
mai, jisne manushye ka sharir par hathi ka sar rakh kar ke plastic
surgery ka prarambh kiya hoga ". (It is said in Mahabharata that karna
was not born from his mother's womb. This means in the times in which
the epic was written genetic science was very much present . We all
worship lord Ganesha ; for sure there must have been some plastic
surgeon at that time, to fit an elephant's head on the body of a human
being.)
The television commentator, Mr. Karan Thapar , in his article in The
Hindu ( Nov 1, 2014 ) says that to his astonishment, no Indian
scientist has refuted Mr. Modi's claims and that this silence is
perlexing.
This important point needs our attention.
Indeed , some of the responses to Mr.Thapar's piece , also published
in The Hindu , are neither here nor there. But one of them by the
scientist sharath Ananthamurthy,is of some interest.
He talks of three varieties of scientists in India.
One type is too embarrassed to react. The second type is indifferent
to any view aired by public persons, and who are comfortable in their
labs as long as research funds flow uninterrupted. And the third type
of scientists who go around giving speeches in school and colleges on
such " mumbo-jumbo " in their zeal to " recover our great Indian
heritage."
When Narendra Modi was chief minister of Gujarat, he included Rss
ideologue Dinanath Batra's book in school syllabus, which claims that
stem cell research was known in the days of kunti and the kauravas ,
television was invented at the time of Mahabharata and motor car
existed in the Vedic period.
This all nonsense mythology have been a pet project of the RSS which
aims to cleanse textbooks of " western " influences and promote
Hindutva ideology.
In India, there are over 600 universities, 40 scientific and
industrial Research ( CSIR )laboratories, a few premier research
institutions like the IISc , Bengaluru, TIFR , Mumbai, 16 IITs and
five Indian Institute of science Education and Research ( IISER ). But
It is unfortunate that not a single Indian institution of higher
learning figures in the list of world's top 200 universities. But the
country has failed to produce any path-breaking research or Nobel
laureates for the last several decades.
If we talk about Education budget of Modi government, the government's
first budget has not delivered for higher education. The overall
education budget of the Modi government is down from Rs.82771 crore to
Rs.69074 crore and cut in research budget is shocking.
RSS and other Hindu groups can not be trusted much to keep politics
out of Education. But, Narendra Modi the man who has promised to make
India a global Superpower, should take the onus and abstain from
politicing education.
Students who grow up believing that plastic surgery existed in ancient
India and Heisenberg's uncertainty principle originated from Vedas,
will only become scientific illustrates.
So , As a Research analyst I want to draw attention of all science
students, technical professor and scientists regarding this issues and
this is the time to speak out against the ancient mythology and False
propaganda of BJP-RSS. We need to save the idea of Indian science.

क्या वाकई थम गई पुरस्कार वापसी मुहिम? -राम पुनियानी

“बिहार चुनाव के नतीजे आने का बाद सोशल मीडिया पर इन दिनों एक कविता काफी प्रसारित हो रही है। इस कविता में कहा जा रहा है कि अब कहीं से भी गोमांस, सम्मान वापसी, अरहर दाल की बढ़ती कीमतों को लेकर कोई बयान नहीं आ रहा है। यह सवाल खड़ा होता है कि क्या ऐसा सहिष्णुता की वजह से है या ऐसा बिहार का चुनाव खत्म हो जाने की वजह से है। स्पष्ट तौर पर यह आरोप लगता रहा है कि लेखकों, कलाकारों और वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा जो पुरस्कार लौटाए जा रहे थे वह बिहार चुनावों को प्रभावित करने की एक पूर्वनियोजित साजिश थी। इस संबंध में आरएसएस का मानना है कि पुरस्कार वापसी की मुहीम राजनीतिक ताकतों के हित में बहुत सलीके से संयोजित की गई थी। केंद्रीय मंत्री जनरल वी के सिंह ने तो यहां तक कहने में भी गुरेज नहीं किया कि पुरस्कार वापसी के इस मुहिम में बहुत ज्यादा पैसा सम्मिलित था। जो कुछ भी हुआ, यह उसकी पूरी तरह से एक प्रायोजित और विकृत व्याख्या है।”
इन पुरस्कारों की वापसी की शुरुआत दाभोलकर, पनसारे और कलबुर्गी तथा दादरी में मोहम्मद अखलाक को पीट-पीट कर मार देने की घटना के बाद हुई। पुरस्कारों की वापसी का यह सिलसिला इस तरह की किसी एक घटना की प्रतिक्रिया में नहीं था। समाज में सांप्रदायिकरण के बढ़ते असर के प्रतिरोध में यह एक पीड़ा थी। समाज की सहिष्णुता में आया गुणात्मक बदलाव इसकी वजह थी। हालांकि, असहिष्णुता का अर्थ है दूसरों से घृणा, और अलग तरह से सोचने वालों या अलग खान-पान की आदतों वाले लोगों के विरुद्ध हिंसा की घटनाएं। इस तरह की कार्रवाइयां, हमारे संविधान में दिए गए भारतीय राष्ट्रवाद के ठीक विपरित हिंदू राष्ट्रवाद के राजनीतिक सिद्धांत से संबंधित लोगों द्वारा शुरू की गईं। सामाजिक अवस्था ने असहमति और मतभिन्नता के दम घोंटने की भावना का अहसास कराया। जो भी घटनाएं हो रही थीं, उनकी वजह से भारत के राष्ट्रपति को बार-बार सहिष्णुता के सामाजिक बुनियादी मूल्यों को संरक्षित रखने की गुहार लगानी पड़ी, उपराष्ट्रपति ने सरकार को याद दिलाया कि नागरिकों के जीवन के अधिकार की रक्षा करना उसका कर्तव्य है। 
नारायण मूर्ति और किरण मजूमदार शॉ जैसे उद्योग जगत के लोगों ने भी मसूस किया कि असहिष्णुता अपने उफान पर है। रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर रघुराम राजन और शाहरुख खान ने भी इसी तरह की भावना व्यक्त की। अगर कोई अल्पसंख्यकों की असुरक्षा का अनुमान लगाना चाहता है तो कुछ दिनों पहले जुलियो रिबेरो ने जो बात कही थी वह बिल्कुल मुनासिब है। उन्होंने कहा था, बतौर एक ईसाई वह इस देश में एक परदेसी की तरह महसूस कर रहे हैं। फिल्म अभिनेता नसीरुद्दीन शाह ने जो कहा वह भी उल्लेखनीय है। उन्होंने कहा था कि इस समय देश में उन्हें उनके मुस्लिम होने का अहसास कराया जा रहा है। हाल के समय में समाज में घट रही घटनाओं की स्थिति की झलक लेखक-गीतकार गुलजार की बातों में नजर आई जब उन्होंने कहा, आजकल हालात ऐसे हो गए हैं कि आज लोग आपका नाम पूछने से पहले आपका धर्म पूछ रहे हैं। 
पुरस्कार वापसी के जरिये भारी प्रतिरोध के साथ ही लेखकों, वैज्ञानिकों और कलाकारों के बयानों से भाजपा और इसकी राजनीतिक साजिशों को गहरा धक्का पहुंचा। वह अब भी इन सबको एक नियोजित प्रतिक्रिया बताकर प्रहार करती है। यह बात बिल्कुल स्पष्ट हो गई है कि जो कुछ भी घटित हो रहा है, वह जनता के एक बड़े वर्ग की भावनाओं को दर्शाता है। क्या यह एक संयोग की बात है कि तब से ही संघ परिवार के सारे अभिन्न अंग, जैसे जहर उगलने वाली साक्षियों, साध्वियों और योगियों ने अपने जहर को काबू में रखा हुआ है। ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि पाकिस्तान भागो, हम कट जाएंगे लेकिन गोमांस खाने वालों को नहीं छोड़ेंगे, जैसे नारों को कुछ समय के लिए विराम दे दिया गया है।
हम एक वैश्विकृत दुनिया में रह रहे हैं। पुरस्कार वापसी के प्रतिरोधों ने सारी दुनिया में ध्यान आकृष्ट किया। यूके में जाने माने मूर्तिकार अनीश कपूर ने उदार दुनिया के एक बहुत बड़े वर्ग की भावनाओं को अभिव्यक्त किया जब उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में हिंदू तालिबान का राज है। उनका आलेख यूके के एक बहुत प्रसिद्ध अखबार, गार्जियन में छपा था। कई भारतीय बुद्धिजीवियों-आंदोलनकारियों ने मोदी के लंदन दौरे के समय वहां उनके खिलाफ विरोध-प्रदर्शन में भाग लिया। इसी प्रकार न्यू यॉर्क टाइम्स ने भी पुरस्कार वापसी की इन घटनाओं और भारत में बढ़ती असहिष्णुता पर कई आलेख छापे। मूडी लॉजिस्टिक्स ने सलाह दी कि मोदी को अपने असामाजिक तत्वों पर लगाम कसना चाहिए वरना भारत अपनी साख खो देगा। 
इन वैश्विक विचारों और प्रवासी भारतीयों के विरोधों ने हिंदू राष्ट्रवादियों पर अतिरिक्त दबाव डाला और अब उनके मुंह फिलहाल के लिए बंद हो गए हैं। बिहार चुनाव के परिणाम उदार विचारों के संरक्षण के लिए हो रहे विरोध प्रदर्शनों के लिए राहत की तरह आया। लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों के लिए प्रतिबद्ध ज्यादातर लोगों और भारतीय संविधान के सिद्धांतों पर अटूट विश्वास रखने वालों को इन परिणामों ने बहुत बड़ी राहत दी है। अब तक यह लग रहा था कि मोदी तरक्की की राह पर हैं और उस राजनीतिक शक्ति को तोड़ने मरोड़ने में सफल हो सकते हैं जो बदले में उनके पैतृक संगठन को विभाजनकारी की प्रक्रिया को तेज करने में मदद करेगी। बिहार के चुनाव परिणामों ने इस बात का एहसास कराया है कि लोकतंत्र और बहुलतावाद में लड़ने की ताकत और भविष्य मौजूद है। और इस परिणाम ने इस बात का भी एहसास कराया कि सही प्रकार के गठबंधन के जरिये चुनावी स्तर पर सांप्रदायिक राष्ट्रवाद का मुकाबला किया जा सकता है।
राहत के इस झोंके की वजह से हो सकता ज्यादातर वैज्ञानिक, आंदोलनकारी और रचनात्मक लोगों ने फिलहाल अपनी नाराजगी के इजहार को थाम लिया हो। जहां असहिष्णुता की राजनीति का खतरा बहुत ज्यादा है, इसकी सबसे खास बात यह है कि फिलहाल कम से कम कुछ समय के लिए इसकी हवा निकाल दी गई है। कोई भी इस बात को समझता है कि घृणा के प्रचार और विभाजनकारी राजनीति के पीछे के संगठन और व्यक्ति अब भी अच्छी खासी संख्या में मौजूद हैं लेकिन फिलहाल बढ़ती असहिष्णु के वातावरण से राहत देने में बिहार एक महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ रहा है। और शायद ऐसा लगता है कि पुरस्कार वापसी के जरिये विरोध एक अर्द्ध अल्पविराम पर पहुंच गया है, दूसरे अर्थों में थम सा गया है।

The book " At Home In India - the Muslim Saga " written by Salman Khurshid , former External affairs minister and Prominent leader of Congress , tackles each and every topic with candour , sensitivity and forthrightness.
He beautifully describes the Indian Muslim's literacy figures on the basis of this vast and varied experience.
The sachar committee did an excellent job of marshalling data from different government sources and came to the following conclusion :
* Abysmal literary figures much below national average and 25 percent Muslims children between ages of 6 and 14 not at school.

* Muslims only 3 percent in the Indian Administrative service ( IAS ) , 1.8 percent in Indian foreign service ( IFS ) , 4 percent in Indian Police service ( IPS ) , 4.5 percent in Railways ( 98.7 percent of the 4.5 percent at lower levels) , police constables only 6 percent, in health 4 percent, in transport 6.5 percent.
Average amount of bank loans disbursed to Muslims 2/3rd of that disbursed to others.
Muslims other backward classes ( OBCs ) worse off than Hindu OBCs.
* The school attainment levels of Muslims are close to scheduled caste/schedule Tribe ( SC/ST ) and much lower than them in rural areas.
* The share of Muslims in all recruitment by state public service commission is about 14 percent, leaving a conspicuous deficit.
There is negligible representation of Muslims in the judiciary ( 7.8 percent).
Hence this type of data illustrate that Muslims literacy figure  grave in danger.
15 percent for minorities as backward under Article 16(4) of the constitution ' notably without qualifying the word " backward " with the words " socially and educationally ".
Only 4 percent Muslims go to madarasas ( Islamic educational institutions ) because they are free and their are no school in the neighbourhood; the Muslim population growth has slowed down as fertility has declined not the least because of willingness to use modern contraceptive; and despite an outstanding record of patriotism, Muslims generally encounter allegations of being ' anti -national ' and also of being appeased for political reasons.
With all this data now available uncontrovertibly, it would be a shame if we are unable or unwilling to address the issues fairly and without self-conscious constraints about reactions.
First, it must be understood that this need to address the condition of India's largest minority is imperative for the good of the entire nation and not merely a populist hand-out to the minorities. Success of the critical national enterprise will depend on a combination of equity and entitlement as the foundation of empowerment.

BJP's one of the most fanatic MP Yogi Adityanath openly delivers the speech " Rape Muslim women by taking them out of graves " in Uttar Pradesh but chief minister Akhilesh Kumar Singh unable to take strong action against him.
yogi has unleashed reign of terror in Uttar Pradesh but state government and police fails to arrest him.
prime minister Narendra Modi is taking about peace , harmony and unity but his MPs like Yogi Adityanath , Sakshi Maharaaj and Sangeet Som speak the language of hate and exclusion .
They are bringing about an atmosphere of mutual distrust.
Can PM Modi lift the poll of communalism in India ?


PM MODI's ' SILENCE ' QUESTIONED
On 3rd June 2015 , Prime minister Narendra Modi said " If Muslims
knock at midnight, I will respond ".
Dadri happened in day time, the whole world knocked out but PM Modi didn't hear.
 Mr. Modi maintained a stoic silence as comments flew thick and fast on
 a range issues -
 * shiv sena MP'S alleged attempt break a fast of a Muslim youth, observing Roza.
 * parveen Togadia gave an " open warning " to Muslim to fall in line.
 * A young techie Mohsin Shaikh killed by a Hindu mob angry over a
 derogatory facebook post.
 * And Recently, Hindu mob killed akhlaq in Dadri ( Noida) near Delhi
 for allegedly eating beef.
 The big question is that why PM Modi mum on International shame.
 What's the reason behind stoic silence of PM Modi?
 Questions are also being raised on whether Mr Modi is unable to
 contain those who seem to be rapidly replacing his development plank
 with aggressive Hindutva .
 Stoic silence by PM Modi BJP leadership will send a wrong message to
 the minorities and create an impression that the centre is
 implementing the Hindutva agenda overtly and covertly.
My direct question to the nation -
* Why does the police almost always end up protecting those communally
 minded Hindus who are behind riots ?
* Why are the poorest Muslims constant targets of attack ?
* Why are the Muslim continuously subjected to riots and organized
 violence, mostly with the active connivance of the state machinery,
 which is largely controlled by Hindus ?
 Why is that in the eyes of fanatic Hindus, every Muslim is a Pakistani
 agent - if not actual, the potential  ? Why are Muslims constantly
 expected to prove their loyalty to India ?
 If Hindu criticize the government, they are seen as exercising their
 democratic right as citizens of India. When Muslims and Sikhs do the
 same  , why are the often accused of being not just anti - government
 but anti - national ?
* Why is it that even in big cities most Hindu landlords will not rent
 their house to Muslims  ?
* Most Muslims who chose to stay in India after partition did so as an
 act of faith in our democratic polity .
 Has that faith been honoured ?
 Why does one often hear statements like: ' send all these Muslims to
 Pakistan  ' or , even worse, ' annihilate them '.
 Let me end with couplet
 " Baat hoti gulon tak to seh lete hum,
Ab to Kaanton pe bhi haq hamara nahi ."
 ( were the issue only about flowers, we would bear with it.

 But now we do have any right over even the thorns. )
